Top 100 Authority Sites You MUST Link Out To!

By Joshua Elliot On December 25, 2009 Under Search Engine Optimization

Linking out to a website or blog can determine your authoritativeness in the online world. Google does not like that we link to any Tom, Dick or Harry online, giving away your page rank or misleading your readers to a unrelated site. This will directly hurt your page rank if you link to anybody online.

Here are some of the reasons why Google will slap you back if you do not link properly:

1) Linking out to unrelated sites than yours. Making your site not targeted to your audiences.

2) Not helping your audiences to find what they are looking for by directing them to a authoritative sites where they can find their answers.

3) Not helping Google to give the online users a good experience using their search engine.

All that been said, what you need to know is to link to good authority sites so that it will bring a good user experience to the online users. Remember that its all about relevancy in this SEO game. By the way, this will change as the site’s rank authority grows in time. So in 2010 it will not be the same anymore.
