Even if you do not have any Page Rank yet, it is still good practice to redirect the old linkage to the new ones.

As page rank is gain from other websites or blogs or article marketing or forum marketing, to link it back to your web page. Each and every one of them has a weight in the linkage (provided the link is a dofollow).

So no matter what your page rank is for each web page, do always remember to keep as much of the page rank from others.
