How to Index Website or Blog Fast

Now that you have your website or blog up, its time that the major search engines get to index your website or blog, so that you can be found and be searched by the online users who wants to use your services or products. How can I do this fast and right? I have written below a step by step on how you can index your website or blog fast;

Getting Your Blog or Website Index Fast

Usually a free blog or self hosted blog can be index in a couple of days with at least 2 post and above. This is because blogs has a build in feature that will inform the search engines that the blog live! Notifying the search engines that your blog has new update, and request their spiders to index your new content post. This can be done by using Pingler, a free pinging service to inform the major search engines that your blog has new updates. Read more about pinging. You can use Pingler for your websites as well.

One tip I have for you if you are using Wordpress.org for your blog, and do not want to always use Pingler to inform the major search engines. Copy all the ping services URL, go to your Wordpress blog  ‘Setting >Writing’, paste all the copied Ping Services URL into ‘Update Services’, and lastly to click ‘Save Changes’. Now you do not need to manually inform the pinging services when you have a new blog post.

There is another way to get your blog to be index fast, is to use the social bookmarking sites like Digg. As Digg is one of the most popular social bookmarking sites, making Google and the other major search engines wanting to get the latest popular content onto their search engines, and the search engines spiders will be clawing every few hours to get the latest updates. This is another great way to be index. This can be used for indexing websites as well.
