A WYSIWYG web editor can let you easily and quickly develop your own website. There are many of these editors available today so be sure to find the one that properly suits your business needs.

All websites are coded using HTML. This language tells the various browser you want your site to be seen by the use of various tags. HTML coding can be a daunting challenge and many people simply don’t have the time to learn it themselves. An editor allows you to create the content for your site without needing to know HTML. This is great for beginners that have no background knowledge in web design.

The premier WYSIWYG editor is Adobe Dreamweaver. This is a highly feature package that supports XHTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, PHP and more. It also offers integration with other Adobe Creative Suite with products including Photoshop.

Microsoft Expression Web is the replacement to Frontpage that Microsoft created to target more serious designers. The package offers many of the same features and standards as Dreamweaver, but is missing the support that was available in Frontpage. As a result it requires a lot of learning as well as costing $300.

KompoZer is an open source editor. The software is free to download and produces a standards compliant HTML web editor. However, it lacks the advanced applications that software like Dreamweaver offers. It does do a sufficient job and includes FTP so the site can go online easily.

Other web editors that worth checking out include SeaMonkey and CoffeCup. SeaMonkey is free and is part of a complete internet application suite as part of the Mozilla project. CoffeeCup has a lot of good features and is a fraction of the cost of many other programs. The package also offers renowned support and free upgrades.

So which is the one suitable for me? You will have to try it out yourself.

HTML makes it possible for people from all over the world to access the documents created on the website. You can create almost anything on the internet by use of this technology. The text is then linked to each other by use of hyperlinks and is accessible to millions and millions of internet users. HTML tutorials are available online but if you don’t want to use those, you can use an editor like Microsoft FrontPage or Macromedia Fireworks. These are sold online or locally. You can also download complete tutorials to your computer. With the downloadable version as soon as the tutorials is loaded to your PC you can access it and get started on creating your first website.

Setting up a HTML website is a move in the direction for someone looking to start doing online business. The information you will have on your website will only be clicks away from the people you aim to connect with. An important factor to note before designing the website is the purpose it is intended for whether it’s a platform from which to sell products online or an interactive website for social networking. You only have 7 seconds to make an impact to the internet user and you need to make it count. Everyone seems to be running out of time with so many things to do in a short span of time. You can help the users save their precious time by having a clear website layout.

The internet can be quite intimidating but only if you let it. The terminology used in programming is actually a lot easier than it sounds so don’t let the big words cause you to back down. What do you have to lose, right? Embrace change and keep an open mind in order to learn as much as possible. Remember the internet is the information superhighway and with the vast range information provided about anything under the sun, you can determine how much or how little you want to learn from it. It’s all there waiting for you tap into it.

When you are designing your HTML website, it helps to look at it from another person’s perspective. Assume you are the one visiting the site and look at it critically. If it is appealing to you, you might want to seek an unbiased opinion from another person. Ask them to make a list of the things that are unfriendly and use that to polish up on your web page. Remember it your web page but the only way you benefit from it is if it appeals to other people too. And to be on the safe side seek the opinion of a few more people but make sure they are part of the audience you are targeting. If for instance you want an HTML website that will appeal to teens, it’s probably not best to seek your mum’s opinion. Keep your audience in mind as you are creating the web page for them to use.

Having a HTML website is almost a mandatory requirement in this time and age. And you are several clicks away from having your own. If you want to use a easy to use, SEO friendly website creator, and lazy to learn HTML codes, you should seriously consider XsitePro 2.

A website is one of the major vehicles for people’s dream to become rich online. People sometimes think that when they make a perfect website, they can generate a huge amount of revenue from the internet. Once the idea of a perfect website is firmly lodged in their minds, they begin to spend most of their time researching for website ideas to create website. As time pass by, they dishearteningly learn that to create a website is a very complicated task requiring skill, talent and technical knowledge which they do not have. All the time spent to make a perfect website is wasted and the dream of being rich is defrayed.

There is no perfect website as everyday there are changes in the dynamics of the online world. A perfect website should be removed from website ideas because it is simply impractical. Among website ideas, a very simple and successful idea for people to know is that they only need to make a website that has the ability to generate at least a dollar every day. Next thing would be to create website similar to the successful website you have previously done.

Create website that is simple and income generating. It will only take you a few hours to build sites that are simple as compared to spending many months creating the perfect site. Write a few articles that are original in your site; make them informational and pragmatic as well. Add money making tools such as the Google AdSense Ad’s or other related affiliate products that can be promoted on your site. Create websites with different topics coupled with some original articles and watch for the results. You will know which site is successful when your website software tells you that your site traffic is increasing. Make as many similar websites as you can to duplicate your success and thus earn simultaneously.

Always bear in mind that a perfect website is impossible to attain. So opt to make a website that is simple but very practical and income generating. Having multiple simple websites earning even a few dollars per day is better than having a single “perfect” website that doesn’t live up to its expectations.

There are basically 3 ways to build a website, not all three way will suit you and it really depends on your level of competence and how complex or simple you want to build them.

Using a template to build website

A ready made template can really help ease you in designing for the website, because it has already a design for you, and what you need to do is to add in content and some small changes in the design.

You can always use pay or free template. For pay ones, you can pay some website designer to design the website according to what you want, making it unique to the Internet. Best of all, you own the design and it can help your readers by instilling branding consciousness.

A professional custom made website template will vary from USD$500 to USD$2,000.

Free template can be found by typing “free website template” on the search engines. Or you can go to FreeWebsitTemplate.com to get a free download. Here are some of the major disadvantages of using a free website template:

1) Other website owners may have used the same template too. This will not make your website branding good, because it is not unique.

2) You may drive traffic and your page rank to the designer of the template. As you do not own the template, the designer will usually require you to link back (a must normally) to credit the designer. The link is usually at the footer, and some of your readers might want to find out more about the designer. This will also result in leaking your page rank to the designer as well.

Usually small businesses and individuals will like to use website template for themselves. For me I would want to use a customized template instead, so sometimes I brought some templates from DreamTemplate.com.

Using HTML to build a website

A HTML website is one to look for if you want to really have a different look for your company. You are able to tweak it to your own website appearance to suit your company. The colour and the structure can be change according to what your clients are looking for, making it easy for them to navigate the website.

Usually Dreamweaver is the preferred choice to design the HTML website. Dreamweaver is a very powerful HTML editor where most professional website designer uses. It has great control in designing a website template in HTML.

Using a HTML editor to design a website will take time, effort and great competence. That us why this is usually done by a professional who is a full time website designer.

Using a text editor to build website

A great control in designing a website, what you need is the code of building the website. This is free and you can use a notepad on your computer to design the website out of text alone.

This is extremely time consuming and hard to build, without the precision of the html code, you can never build a website with a text editor. Well there are some that knows about building a website using text editor. But I will not recommend using it, as this is extremely hard and not easy thing.

If you want to learn your HTML the fastest, then using text editor will surely increase your knowledge fast. Not suitable for newbies and those who want to earn money fast.

Conclusion in building website

I must say that whatever way you use, it will highly depend on your money to invest, time and competency in building a website. If in any case you want to use outsource a professional because you have the money but no time and competency, then outsourcing will be your solution. If you do not have a lot of money, but have time and some knowledge, I will recommend using the template instead.

Let me know what your opinion is and share with us in the comment below. I will be listening.
